It does not validate the content — it certifies the document's signatures and seals for international acceptance.
In most cases, no. We default to True Copy Apostilles — faster, more affordable, and no need to send your originals. Simply upload a clear scan. Originals are only required when specifically mandated by the receiving authority.
State documents can be processed as fast as 24 hours with our Priority Express tier. Standard Priority takes 2–3 business days and Economy Standard takes 4–6 business days. Shipping time is separate from processing.
Federal apostilles (for FBI background checks, federal court orders, etc.) are processed through the U.S. Department of State and take 6–14 business days. Federal processing cannot be expedited regardless of tier.
